For family-law attorneys

Stop paying paralegals to scroll through 8,000 texts.

TextTimeline turns a client's raw text export into a searchable, source-cited evidence report your firm can review in 30 minutes. $99 per matter, flat. No subscription. No software to install.

Family-law matters increasingly turn on text-message evidence. Custody cases hinge on patterns of refused visitation. Divorce cases turn on admissions of hidden assets. Harassment claims live or die on the volume and content of post-no-contact messages. The evidence is there — the problem is finding it inside thousands of messages without burning paralegal hours.

TextTimeline is built for that workflow. Upload the client's export, run hybrid retrieval (semantic + keyword) against the patterns your matter actually cares about, pick the messages that prove your theory of the case, and export a PDF + CSV evidence report with full citations. Every claim ties back to a specific message with timestamp and sender. It's court-ready, attorney-reviewable, and traceable.

What family-law firms use TextTimeline for

Custody hearings

Surface every refused visitation, every disparaging message about the other parent, every threat to withhold the children — across years of co-parenting texts in seconds.

Divorce litigation

Find admissions of infidelity, hidden bank accounts, undisclosed purchases, and dissipation patterns — the kind of evidence that shifts equitable distribution.

How it changes the matter economics

Without TextTimelineParalegal at $80–150/hr × 8–20 hours of manual review = $640–$3,000 per matter in evidence prep alone.
With TextTimeline$99 per matter. Roughly 30 minutes of attorney review against pre-organized findings with citations.

We charge once per matter so you can pass the cost to the client as an itemized expense, or absorb it and capture the margin. No subscription, no per-seat licensing, no minimums.

Confidentiality and security posture

  • Raw files deleted after processing. We index the data and discard the source file. The index itself is encrypted and per-matter scoped.
  • No model training on client data. Your matter data is never used to train, fine-tune, or improve any model.
  • Per-matter access scoping. Each matter has its own isolated index, encryption key, and retention TTL.
  • Provenance preserved end-to-end. Source file hash, original timestamps, and message-level citations carry through to the final report.
  • Built on Google Cloud. Cloud Run + Firestore + GCS, with VPC-SC compatibility on the roadmap. Happy to share a security summary for your firm's intake review.

Frequently asked questions

How does TextTimeline fit a family-law practice?

TextTimeline replaces the paralegal hours that go into manually organizing client text exports. Upload the client's export, run searches against the patterns relevant to the matter (custody, divorce, harassment), and generate a court-ready PDF + CSV with full citations. Most matters take under 30 minutes from upload to deliverable.

What about confidentiality and privilege?

TextTimeline is built for confidential legal evidence. Raw exports are processed in memory and deleted — we don't retain text content beyond what's needed for the index. Per-matter encryption, scoped access, and TTL-based auto-delete are part of the architecture. We don't use client data to train models. We're happy to provide a security and data-handling summary for your firm's review.

Can I use TextTimeline for opposing party's text exports?

Yes. If you've received an opposing party's text export through discovery, you can upload it and run the same retrieval and report workflow. TextTimeline preserves the source file lineage so chain-of-custody fields are intact in the report.

Do you offer a volume rate or firm pricing?

We're early — pricing is $99 per evidence report flat. If you're running enough matters that volume pricing matters, get in touch. We'd rather build something that fits real firm workflow than pre-design a tier.

Is there a design partner program?

Yes. We're actively looking for family-law attorneys to use TextTimeline on real matters and shape what we build next. Design partners get free reports on their first matter in exchange for honest feedback. Email us if interested.
